Maison Melodia
A Classical foundation. A voice for every style.
Maison Melodia is a vocal studio founded by Sarocharat Tosrisawatkasem (Amelia Tang / Kru Aom), offering singing lessons for children, teenagers and adults aged 7 and beyond.
Our teaching is rooted in Classical vocal principles, providing students with a healthy and reliable technical foundation that can be applied across a wide range of musical styles, including Classical, Musical Theatre and Contemporary Pop.
At Maison Melodia, we believe that singing is more than reaching higher notes or singing louder. It is about developing a voice that is balanced, expressive and sustainable for years to come.
Every voice is unique. Rather than shaping every student into the same type of singer, we nurture each individual voice while preserving its natural identity. A strong Classical foundation gives singers the freedom to explore different musical styles with confidence, artistry and healthy vocal technique.

Sarocharat Tosrisawatkasem (Amelia Tang)
Founder of Maison Melodia
Sarocharat Tosrisawatkasem, also known as Amelia Tang or Kru Aom, is a Singapore-based vocal educator, performer and founder of Maison Melodia.
Having studied Classical singing for over 14 years under Ms. Khor Ai Ming, Amelia has developed a teaching approach rooted in Classical vocal principles while embracing the versatility required for today’s singers. Her students explore a wide range of musical styles—including Classical, Musical Theatre and Pop—built upon a healthy and sustainable vocal foundation.
Amelia believes that good vocal technique should not limit artistic expression. Instead, it should give singers the freedom to communicate confidently, sing beautifully and tell meaningful stories through music.
Her teaching focuses on developing seamless register transitions, balanced vocal coordination, resonant tone and the preservation of each singer’s natural vocal identity. Rather than producing voices that sound alike, Amelia strives to help every student discover and develop the best version of their own voice.
Beyond vocal technique, she places equal importance on musicianship, stage presence and storytelling, believing that memorable performances are created through the combination of technical freedom, artistic expression and genuine communication.
As a performer, Amelia has appeared in numerous operatic, musical theatre and concert productions in Singapore and overseas. Her theatre credits include Pamina in The Magic Flute, Sandman in Hansel & Gretel, Dorcus in Thomas & Sally, and Jacky the Hare in Faybulous, which was presented at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
In 2024, Amelia presented her first solo recital at the Esplanade Recital Studio, marking an important milestone in her artistic journey.
She has also performed in Singapore’s Chingay Parade, Singapore’s National Jubilee Celebration, and at official events including performances for Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress of Japan.
As an educator, Amelia has guided students towards outstanding achievements in both performance and examinations.
More than 98% of her students taking Trinity College London and ABRSM Singing Examinations have achieved Merit or Distinction, with her highest-scoring student receiving 98/100.
Her students have also performed in concerts, musicals and cultural events throughout Singapore, reflecting her belief that meaningful stage experience is an essential part of musical growth.
Today, Amelia continues to perform, research and refine her understanding of the singing voice.
She is passionate about helping singers build healthy, expressive and versatile voices that will serve them throughout a lifetime of music.
Whether working with a child taking their first lesson or an experienced performer refining advanced repertoire, Amelia believes that every voice has its own story—and every singer deserves the opportunity to discover it.

ผู้ก่อตั้ง Maison Melodia
ครูอ้อม (สโรชรัตน์ โตศรีสวัสดิ์เกษม) เป็นนักร้อง นักแสดง และครูสอนร้องเพลง ผู้ก่อตั้ง Maison Melodia สตูดิโอสอนร้องเพลงที่เชื่อว่า พื้นฐานการใช้เสียงที่ดี คือหัวใจของการร้องเพลงทุกแนว
ครูอ้อมเรียนด้านการร้องเพลงคลาสสิกภายใต้การดูแลของ Ms. Khor Ai Ming มาเป็นเวลากว่า 14 ปี ครูอ้อมได้นำหลักการของการร้องเพลงแบบ Classical มาประยุกต์ใช้ในการพัฒนาผู้เรียนทุกช่วงวัย ไม่ว่าจะเป็น Classical, Musical Theatre หรือ Pop เพื่อให้ผู้เรียนสามารถใช้เสียงได้อย่างเป็นธรรมชาติ มีอิสระ และดูแลเสียงของตนเองได้อย่างยั่งยืน
สำหรับครูอ้อม เทคนิคการร้องเพลงไม่ใช่เป้าหมายสุดท้าย แต่เป็นเครื่องมือที่ช่วยให้ผู้ร้องสามารถสื่อสาร ถ่ายทอดเรื่องราว และแสดงตัวตนผ่านเสียงเพลงได้อย่างมั่นใจ
ครูอ้อมให้ความสำคัญกับการสร้างพื้นฐานที่แข็งแรง ทั้งการเชื่อมเสียง (Passaggio) ที่เป็นธรรมชาติ การรักษาเอกลักษณ์ของน้ำเสียง การสร้างเสียงที่กังวานและสมดุล รวมถึงการพัฒนาความเป็นศิลปินผ่านการตีความบทเพลง การสื่อสารอารมณ์ และการแสดงบนเวที

ในปี พ.ศ. 2567 ครูอ้อมได้จัด คอนเสิร์ตเดี่ยวครั้งแรก ณ Esplanade Recital Studio ประเทศสิงคโปร์ ซึ่งนับเป็นอีกก้าวสำคัญในเส้นทางการเป็นศิลปิน
นอกจากนี้ ครูอ้อมยังเคยร่วมแสดงใน Chingay Parade, Singapore’s National Jubilee Celebration รวมถึงได้รับเกียรติแสดงต่อ สมเด็จพระจักรพรรดิและสมเด็จพระจักรพรรดินีแห่งประเทศญี่ปุ่น
ประสบการณ์ด้านการสอน
ตลอดหลายปีที่ผ่านมา ครูอ้อมได้สอนนักเรียนตั้งแต่เด็กอายุ 7 ปี ไปจนถึงผู้ใหญ่ โดยมุ่งเน้นการสร้างพื้นฐานการใช้เสียงที่แข็งแรง ควบคู่ไปกับการพัฒนาความมั่นใจและศักยภาพในการแสดง
นักเรียนของครูอ้อมประสบความสำเร็จในการสอบร้องเพลงของ Trinity College London และ ABRSM อย่างต่อเนื่อง โดยกว่า 98% ของผู้เข้าสอบได้รับผลการสอบระดับ Merit และ Distinction และนักเรียนที่ทำคะแนนสูงสุดได้รับ 98 คะแนนจาก 100 คะแนน
นอกจากการสอบแล้ว นักเรียนของครูอ้อมยังมีโอกาสแสดงในคอนเสิร์ต ละครเพลง และกิจกรรมทางวัฒนธรรมต่าง ๆ ทั้งในประเทศสิงคโปร์และต่างประเทศ ซึ่งเป็นส่วนสำคัญในการพัฒนาทั้งทักษะการร้องเพลงและความมั่นใจบนเวที
ปรัชญาการสอน
ครูอ้อมเชื่อว่า “เสียงที่ดี ไม่ใช่เสียงที่เหมือนกันทุกคน แต่คือเสียงที่เป็นธรรมชาติของแต่ละคน และสามารถใช้ได้อย่างอิสระ มีประสิทธิภาพ และยั่งยืน”
การเรียนร้องเพลงจึงไม่ใช่เพียงการร้องโน้ตให้ถูกต้อง แต่คือการเรียนรู้ที่จะเข้าใจเสียงของตนเอง สื่อสารผ่านบทเพลง และเติบโตทั้งในฐานะนักร้องและศิลปิน
ครูอ้อมยังเชื่อว่าการแสดงที่ดีเกิดจากองค์ประกอบสำคัญ 3 ประการ ได้แก่

การร้องที่น่าประทับใจ (Impressive Singing) — ความมั่นคงและอิสระในการใช้เทคนิค

การร้องที่ไพเราะ (Beautiful Singing) — น้ำเสียงที่สมดุล กังวาน และเป็นธรรมชาติ

การเล่าเรื่องผ่านเสียงเพลง (Storytelling Singing) — การสื่อสารอารมณ์และความหมายของบทเพลงสู่ผู้ฟัง
ครูอ้อมยังคงศึกษาค้นคว้า ทดลอง และพัฒนาองค์ความรู้เกี่ยวกับเสียงร้องอย่างต่อเนื่อง เพราะเชื่อว่าการเรียนรู้ไม่มีวันสิ้นสุด
ทุกบทเรียนที่ Maison Melodia จึงไม่ได้มุ่งเพียงให้ผู้เรียนร้องเพลงได้ดีขึ้น แต่เพื่อช่วยให้พวกเขาค้นพบเสียงที่เป็นตัวเอง และใช้เสียงนั้นได้อย่างมั่นใจตลอดชีวิต
